Manuel Fehlhammer commented on RF-12008:
----------------------------------------

Hi,

regarding this topic, I encountered the following problem:

If I have 3 WAR inside my ear, where each uses richfaces.
I simply added sub-deployment tags for each of my WARs as described above, to descrive the dependancy to richfaces.
Deployment succeeds without error message.
But during runtime ONLY one of my WARs works with richfaces (I think the first mentioned in application.xml).
The other have problems to access richfaces specific resources (i.e. JavaScript)
Debugger shows me that access to
http://localhost:8080/<webApp2|webapp3>/org.richfaces.resources/javax.faces.resource/org.richfaces.staticResource/4.3.1.Final/PackedCompressed/packed/packed.js
returns a 404 ERROR

Anyone knows the reason?

Thanks,
Manuel

> It would be nice to have RichFaces packed as JBoss AS7 module, so it could be just grabbed and inserted to {{modules}} directory (similary to SnowDrop distribution [1]).
> It would allow to reuse RichFaces between projects and make the WARs really skinny for those who are deploying several RichFaces-based applications to the AS7.
