Indeed it [isn't available|https://repository.jboss.org/nexus/content/repositories/snapshots/org/richfaces/archetypes/richfaces-archetype-kitchensink/] in the JBoss Public Maven Repository.

We apparently have not yet ported the Archetypes repository to use the RichRFaces 5 artifacts.  Nice catch [~jpapouse]!
