On the other hand, we use this declaration to manage version of {{rewrite-servlet}} and {{rewrite-cdi-integration}} in archetypes and quickstarts.

It is risky to remove this declaration from the BOM in a minor release then.

As a workaround, one can either

* specify the dependency version in a final POM
* move the {{richfaces-bom}} import bellow the import of a BOM which specifies correct {{rewrite-servlet}} version (aka decrease {{richfaces-bom}} priority)
