I *have reproduced* the issue.

The facelet with reproduction is [here|https://github.com/richfaces/richfaces-qa/blob/master/metamer/application/src/main/webapp/components/richColumnGroup/RF-13259.xhtml].

Steps to reproduce:
# build metamer
# deploy it e.g. on JBoss AS 7.1.1.Final
# load: http://localhost:8080/metamer/faces/components/richColumnGroup/RF-13259.xhtml
# see that styles are not applied: odd row should be yellow, even ones red.
# see that rows do not have rendered classes {{oddRow}} or {{noStyle}}.

Workaround added to the workaround section.
