Lukáš Fryč commented on RF-11469:
---------------------------------

The attached sample uses Spring and its {{@Component}} annotation. I'm not sure whether this is an issue or not.

[~Trims]
I assume that the attached bean {{TestBean}} doesn't work but {{WorkingAutocompleteBean}} works, right? I guess that it's because you need to provide all 3 parameters.

Even though it seems to be silly, RF 4.0-4.3 has Autocomplete defined with 3 attributes, see
https://github.com/richfaces/richfaces/blob/master/framework/src/main/java/org/richfaces/ui/input/autocomplete/AbstractAutocomplete.java#L77

Is that the issue? I suggest to open a new enhancement request in this issue tracker and suggest to remove those two unnecessary attributes in 5.0.
