I have [modified the {{input-demo}} dev example|https://github.com/lfryc/dev-examples/blob/RF-11469-autocomplete-method-does-not-resolve-bean-if-ui-included/input-demo/src/main/java/org/richfaces/demo/autocomplete/AutoCompleteBean.java#L41] so that the bean has just one parameter and it really doesn't work with JSF or CDI bean.

Seems like a RichFaces issue then, not specific to Spring.
