Ok, the basepath being null is no problem. If the basepath isn't found the script (ckeditor.js) goes through <script> elements on the page until it finds the element that points to it, if that fails it it looks on location.href, it that fails it throws an error.

On the first request all scripts come with appended jsessionid:

on subsequent requests the id is not there, the problem is that the URL with jsessionid doesn't match the regex that's supposed to find it. So this is an issue in CKEditor itself.
