A second attempt at resolving this issue centred around synchronizing the (appropriately mapped) RF 4.3 files to their RF 4.5 counterparts.  This proved unsuccessful as the rf 4.3 and 4.5 code-bases have sufficiently diverged (eg. attribute interfaces) such that the resulting diff was too large to make sense of.
