The editor should be rendered now ([commit|https://github.com/richfaces/richfaces-qa/commit/dcb1259a69bb6c0055b43b9192d713d6e31c20b3]), with the upgrade of CKEditor there was a change of default skin ([line|https://github.com/richfaces/richfaces/commit/4c8ac2c970692ac96fde0ef3f505a1b7fbda3d29#diff-62a6d4702518fa2f42f90e5aa53cd3acL67]).
