There are tons of tests https://svn.jboss.org/repos/richfaces/branches/community/3.3.X/test-applications/seleniumTest/richfaces and in 33X we ran with different parsers. For 4.x, running with different parsers is not needed but we should be able to port these tests to 4.X components. Please comment here with your findings and let us know pros and cons.
