om.xml of projects created using archetypes from staging repo has wrong version for bom:

 <properties>
        <project.build.sourceEncoding>UTF-8</project.build.sourceEncoding>
        <org.richfaces.bom.version>4.0.0-SNAPSHOT</org.richfaces.bom.version>
    </properties>


Given that I use staging repo as mentioned at http://community.jboss.org/wiki/MavenStagingSettings, I get

Caused by: org.apache.maven.project.ProjectBuildingException: POM 'org.richfaces:richfaces-bom' not found in repository: Unable to download the artifact from any repository

  org.richfaces:richfaces-bom:pom:4.0.0-SNAPSHOT

This needs to be fixed otherwise archetype project will have wrong RF libraries in regular maven settings.xml which has visibility to snapshot
