http://community.jboss.org/message/597680#597680 - good that not need in his particular case but I believe oldValue and newValue are "a must" for change event(as for server side). currently event.rf.data returns undefined. So the user see that value changed actually but could do nothing if need to access oldValue in handler according to some his requirements.
