Last investigation on JBoss AS7 seems ok.
Tried develop branch (dependency on RF-4.1.0-SNAPSHOT) as well as master branch (dependency on RF-4.0.0.Final).

There is required standalone-preview configuration to run this example.
Even master branch (related to 4.0.0.Final) doesn't have profile especially for JBoss AS7 (like as on develop branch), there is possible build showcase demo with jee6 maven profile, and it works.

So, richfaces-showcase works on JBoss AS7 correctly, since all basic requirements (such as run JBAS7 with technlogy preview configuration and example build with profile providing jee6 compatible WAR) are met.
