I have used *JBoss Tools 3.3.M4, Tomcat 7.0.20 and JBoss AS 7.1.0.Beta1*. Below you can find my results, for each sub task from description.

*add 1.*
I had no problem with creating Ant app with using of JBoss Tools, the only problem was running AS 7.1.0.Beta due to known issue, but *finally it worked*. Please see the attachments( richfaces_cr2_testingJBoss7Ant.zip, richfaces_cr2_testingTomcat7Ant.zip ).

*add 2.*
I have created maven project from org.richfaces.archetype.simpleapp as documented in developer guide, there is profile for running on both Tomcat 7 and JBoss AS 7. *It worked fine*. To see the app please refer to richfaces-cr2-testingMavenArchetype.zip 

*add 3.*
I have imported richfaces-showcase, retrieved from richfaces CR2 distribution, I have also deployed that on Tomcat and JBoss AS. *Both import and deployment went smoothly*, to see the containers log from deployment please refer to 	deploymentShowcaseTomcat7, deploymentShowcaseJbossAS7
