Looks pretty good. Some notes:

"13.3.4. Submission modes"

"server" "ajax" and "client". And that's for all components which has modes I believe (at least it should be if nobody forgot about that requirement change :) )

"13.3.6.1. Basic usage" and "13.3.7.1. Basic usage"
minor addition - label facet also could be used.


To add in general: 

good to mention somewhere about server side events and handling attributes. That's a menu :) So how to call server side logic - pretty important part to be mentioned explicitly. Here is the list:

panel menu : fires ItemChangeEvent in ajax and server mode. provides itemChangeListener attribute to define listener.
panel menu item and group: fires ActionEvent in ajax and server mode. both provides action and actionListener event for event handling and navigation.
