I have done this testing. I have used the same way as usually for this JIRA:

1. create simple app using tagged richfaces tag library, deploy it on JBoss AS 7
2. deploy showcase on JBoss and Tomcat containers

The created app can be found in the attachment.

I have arranged also meeting on next week with guys from JBoss Tools team, to talk about automation of this task.

I have managed to deploy showcase on all containers, but there should be some caveat in doc about:
1. when deploying on JBoss AS 7 to have started container with right configuration
2. to have correct deployment assembly according to container it is deployed on
3. to have set correct maven profile
