Both {{dev-examples}} and {{showcase}} does override {{jsf_profile}}s from {{richfaces-root-parent}}.

The only reason for having such dependency is inheriting pluginManagement, specifically handling {{lifecycle-mapping}} for M2Eclipse across project.
