There is currently no switch to enable "scripts" only and after last discussions on meetings, we have not decided to add this option.

I'm sure user wants to package all resources, not only JavaScript ones,

so I would suggest to improve docs (RFPL-1982) and blog (RFPL-1767) with this particular scenario post {{4.2}}.
