(I posted this by emailing to the dev list, which I'm a subscriber to, but it
doesn't seem to have gone through for some reason (who knows).  So I'm
posting now via Nabble, which always works.)

I've filed Drools bug JBRULES-2976:

I think this is a valid bug but I'd appreciate another pair of eyes on it.
