[rules-users] Rules and Database integration

hi all,

         Can anybody give me a suitable solution for the following scenario. 

         - I have thousands of value objects. I need to check in the
database if a record exists by comparing with the values in the VO. I need
to make lots of database calls. How do i achieve this? should i just use the
plain old JDBC is my java file?
