[rules-users] MVEL VariableResolverFactory problem on eclipse

perhaps something went wrong ?
I really got mails from you twice, but have deleted them in the meantime,
I'll watch it and if it happens again I'll tell you.

back to your problem: -clean helps in many cases after upgrading plugins,
but you have done it.
so perhaps there are anywhere incompatible MVEL jars on your classpath ?
what if you try it with a fresh eclipse install ? same happens ?
