[rules-users] RuleFlow, Actions, Milestone

some questions, because I didn't found something in the docs -
as I understand it right:

a "Split" - constraint is like LHS of a rule
an "Action" is like RHS of a rule

but what "does" a "Milestone" - constraint ?
when do I use a Milestone ?
