Not sure what you mean exactly by "interact with Drools API"? If what 
you want is to host a Drools service somewhere then integrate this 
service with other services through certain transport/protocols (such as 
Webservices, JMS, HTTP, Atom/Pub etc), you may want to take a look into 
Drools pipeline or Drools Camel integration. Camel may already have a 
RMI support.
