[rules-users] matches doesn't catch rule.

I'm trying to create a rule where I want to match if a variable matches one
or more words.

This is my rule:
m:myObject(variable matches "WORD 1|WORD 2")

but it doesn't catch any instance where variable is either WORD 1 or WORD 2.
