[rules-users] Michal Bali books code examples?

I have read many other java books, and most of the books provide out of box
working examples. But with this book i was surprised to find out all the
examples have been renamed to *.txt instead of *.drl 

Look inside this folder as part of downloaded code- 5647_Code

Does this makes sense?

Or a tact to confuse the users?

Or M i missing anything?
