What I'd like to do is get a much cleaner drools core, for the engine 
execution part. So that we can use some source code translation for that 
to get native execution, allong the .net specific bits - such as IL 
compilers - to be written natively as plugins. But it's a long way off 
yet, hopefully something we can start to explore in 2012.
