I agree with Davide when he wrote that very likely your issue is totally
unrelated with property reactivity.

I will try to reproduce the CCE you're reporting, but I suspect it could be
related with the use of Janino as Java compiler. Is there any particular
reason why you're using it? If not I strongly advice to avoid it if
possible. Can you try to remove it from the configuration and check if this
fixes your problem?
