I've encountered the same issue as described by Vann_the_Red. My GUVNOR<br>
version is 5.4.0-SNAPSHOT.<br>
The problem is that I can't assign defined variable as a value in formula<br>
field in "THEN" section of my rule. It is due to field mask that allows me<br>
to enter only digits (type of the field is long). When I click on "formula",<br>
the textarea containing "=" appears, but I cannot type in variable name, nor<br>
any character other than digits. Furthermore, if I delete "=" I cannot<br>
re-enter it.<br>
I'm providing the screenshot of the rule:<br>
