I would like to express my sincere thanks to JBoss for extending me
the opportunity to participate in the Seam/Hibernate meeting in Italy,
to Pete for organizing such a stellar trip, and to Shane for treating
us to his culinary mastery. I appreciate that these meetings are both
expensive and time consuming to arrange, but the interaction that
occurs is, as they say, "priceless". It was great meeting everyone and
I look forward to continue producing industry-changing software with
you all in the future.

I never got a chance to tell Gavin directly, but hopefully it was
overheard that I think WebBeans is simply brilliant. This spec could
single-handily change the quality of Java EE. I am also extremely
thrilled about Christian's REST module.

Cheers!

-Dan

p.s. Please make your pictures available. I didn't get as many as I had hoped.
