[seam-dev] Compiling Seam faces module

Hi guys,

Problem is with example »short-ly« app as it has dependencies that only work if you add ocpsoft.com repository.

 and even that test (for short-ly) fails with could not find “test.war”.

So if you remove module examples/short-ly from pom.xml it will compile without problems as will tests.

Maven version 2.2.1

Java 1.6 u16/windows 64

Did a mvn clean install on an updated trunk (not clean repo, though) and got a failure for

(it did pull in loads of new hibernate-stuff)

Can you try temporarily moving your local maven repo and starting with a clean one for the build?

well I was using Seam from version 1.2 to 2.2.x - so I'm familiar with seam. 

I checked out seam-faces module about two weeks ago and compiled it with no problem. but last week, after an update (svn up) it didn't compile anymore. After having a discussion with Lincoln yesterday, I started from beginning. So I removed a org/jboss/seam folder from m2 repo, followed the instruction on http://seamframework.org/Seam3/CheckOutAndBuildSeam:
