I'm pretty sure the first two are already the case, at least it is on
sfwk.org. The software "rewards" users for logging in, essentially. I like
the idea of having an edit process bump the timeout. I didn't think about
that pattern. The Servlet API allows the timeout can be changed
programmatically at anytime.
