Gavin King closed JBSEAM-1843.
------------------------------
Resolution: Rejected
According to the DTD, <raise-event> is EMPTY, ie. your example pages.xml file is invalid.
If you want to support nested <param>s in <raise-event>, this should be done as a feature request.
> <raise-event> has undefined behavior when passing event arguments
> -----------------------------------------------------------------
>
> Key: JBSEAM-1843
> URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBSEAM-1843
> Project: JBoss Seam
> Issue Type: Task
> Components: Core
> Reporter: Christian Bauer
> Priority: Minor
>
> <navigation>
> <rule if-outcome="docDisplay">
> <raise-event type="DocumentHome.init">#{wikiRequestResolver.nodeId}</raise-event>
> <render view-id="/docDisplay.xhtml"/>
> </rule>
> The init(Object o) method is called but the argument is not the value I define in pages.xm (also tried literals) but an instance of org.jboss.seam.Component(documentHome). Which is actually the receiver of the event.
