Configuring just-ice.jar provides a workaround for the case where the application contains some ICEfaces pages and some non-ICEfaces pages.  Only non-ICEfaces pages can initiate a PDF or email render.  The difficulty is that the email or PDF render re-uses the FacesContext of the calling page. The complexity of this interaction leads us to recommend the workaround at this time and proceed with full integration after ICEfaces 1.5.4.
