It's not that *I* need any changes in Seam... as you already noticed, I satisfied my requirements just fine. Right now I'm simply trying to share what I did with others that might (and will) run into similar problems. All I suggest is to add the attached code to the org.jboss.seam.microcontainer, to complement the DataSourceFactory that's already there. Is it too much to ask?
