Unfortunately since I am not a JBoss employee Session functionality is really low on my priority list since my employer uses JPA.  If you wanted to take a stab at it, submit a patch, and test it.  I'd be more than willing to take the time to review it and commit it.

The concept is simple enough,  it should be exactly the same as what I did for JPA.  Simply wrap a SessionFactory that returns a seam managed Session.

What do you say?  Take a shot at it.  If you're fast enough we might even be able to fit it into 1.3.0. :)
