I tried to embed animated gifs via s:graphicImage. The images are stored in a database.

=> A static image is displayed - the animation is lost.

The image data size at the browser does not match the data sizes of the original file (and the database version); sizes get increased.

The data manipulation in "org.seam.core.Image.readImage" seems to destroy the animation data.

When I use a servlet to deliver the images from the database the animation works.
