This is a bit of behavior by design , considering that:
- facesMessages is in the conversation scope.
- end-converstion before-redirect=true will trash the conversation before messages get displayed

Still, in some cases like canceling actions, you need to get rid of the dirty context (including entityManager).. but not of the messages.
