Stephan, the problem here is that sometimes jboss-seam isn't an ejb module, e.g. if you do a JPA deployment using just a war.  So I'm not sure if we can declare it as an EJB in all situations. Do you know?

Also, do you mean <packaging>ejb</packaging>?
