ok - so this must be a bug in the microcontainer that I can't see an easy way for me to work around without having to do extra packaging and hacky tricks to fix something that worked fine with the testing setup in Seam 1.2. I'll talk/meet with Ales Justin tomorrow in NE about this issue.
