Peter Hilton commented on JBSEAM-1601:
--------------------------------------

Cool - I'll see if I can do a checkout and try it out, once we've got our beta release out in public.

Incidentally, I wrote up the use-case, which shows a screenshot of a Seam-generated e-mail, at http://blog.bitlogistics.com/bitlogistics/2007/08/16/avoiding_duplicate_data_entry_in_e_mail.html

> Add a new attribute to {{m:attachment}} that generates a {{Content-ID}} header for the attachment in the e-mail. For example:
> {code:xml}
> <m:attachment ... var="attachment1" />
> {code}
> This would make it possible to use a CID URL (see [RFC2557|http://www.rfc-editor.org/rfc/rfc2557.txt], sections 8.3 and 9.5) in the message body to refer to the image, for example:
> {code:html}
> <img src="cid:#{attachment1.contentId}" />
> {code}
