I made an attempt at this a few months ago because I'm a huge fan of openid.  However, I was very disappointed with the Java libraries for openid.  The only one that seemed a credible option relied on updating XML libraries in the endorsed lib directory, which seems like an unacceptable restriction for something that would be a core Seam capability.

Can you recommend an openid library?  I would put this into seam in a heartbeat if we could find an good open source openid implementation.
