Marcell Barbacena commented on JBSEAM-3104:
-------------------------------------------

Shouldn't WicketStatusMessages have a @AutoCreate instead of having to specify the create attribute at the injection? It is expected by default that this component is already created, isn't it?

> StatusMessages cannot be required

>                 Key: JBSEAM-3104
>                 URL: http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBSEAM-3104
>             Project: Seam
>          Issue Type: Bug
>          Components: Wicket
>    Affects Versions: 2.1.0.A1
> Environment: JBoss 4.2, Wicket example
>            Reporter: Marcell Barbacena
>
> Create a generic component:
> @Name("some")
> public class Some {
>   private @In StatusMessages statusMessages;
>   public void doSome() {statusMessages.info("here");}
> }
> attach it to components.xml:
> <event type="org.jboss.seam.security.notLoggedIn">
>   <action execute="#{some.doSome}"/>
> </event>
> A error occur saying that statusMessages cannot be required. However, chaging it: @In(required=false), the statusMessages is injected and the message enqueued.
