NetBeans still lacks a good plugin for TestNG and arguably JUnit 4 is still better supported in IDEs overall. Therefore, it would be nice if Seam would provide a base test class for JUnit 4. Since JUnit 4 has parallel support for tests being declared through the use of annotations, it should be fairly straightforward to support both test frameworks.
