hi,
while I was trying to implement that feature I realized that in the ExceptionFilter you are not able to access the currentViewId property (you are already out of FacesServlet, so it's quite sensible). 

Any ideas ?

The solution would be setting more exception related information into the conversation (request parameters, viewId, requestUrl ... ) JBSEAM-2601.
