John Ament commented on SEAMINTL-5:
-----------------------------------
So I can add an injection point on defaultTimeZoneId, in DefaultTimeZoneProducer.
e.g.:
@Inject @Named
private String defaultTimeZoneId;
This passes a basic UT like this:
@Produces @Named("defaultTimeZoneId")
private String utTestDefaultTimeZoneId = "Africa/Abidjan";
@Test
public void testDefaultTimeZoneProducerID()
{
Assert.assertEquals(timeZone.getID(), utTestDefaultTimeZoneId);
}
However, the problem comes into whether defaultTimeZoneID should be a required configuration. We would need to change the xml config to use producer style in this case. In addition, it makes the field a required step, so you need to either provide a Java based or XML configuration for the point, you can't skip it. Personally, I don't see an issue with it, but I don't think it's my call. ;-)
