Checked out a fresh version of Seam_2_2 branch (community) and can't build the jboss-seam-ui.jar. ...so went back and tried to deploy other examples of Seam applications to jboss-6.0.0.M2 and have found the following exception:-

which indicate a problem with jboss-seam-ui.jar  (description tag...???).

Once I can ensure that the regular seam examples do deploy to this application server (ie: no seam problems), I can then work on getting the ICEfaces example as there are a couple of tactics to use:-
1) use strategy similar to ICE-4264
2) use compat jars for 1.8.2 with ICEfaces-2.0
