The search feature is horrible, it's very limited in terms of functionality.  I pointed this out when sfwk.org was first released, no changes (or DIY attitude from Bauer, etc.)

the inability to edit your own posts is horrible, that needs to be fixed.

I should be able to turn on or off email notification at any time for any thread.

honestly, let's just merge sfwk.org into the new JBoss forums, those are pretty good.  I like being able to mark a post as "helpful" or "answered the question".  The ability to add attachments is very useful as well.  This is lacking in sfwk.org.  

The longer threads (more than 10 posts) are very slow to load presumably due to the wiki parsing.  Fast forums are best.  

Think about it, does a forum really need conversational support?  Do we really need isolated conversations (workspaces) per tab?  How many ppl actually open more than one tab or window while using sfwk.org?
