Seam 3 is compatible with JDK 5 according to
  http://seamframework.org/Seam3/GetStarted
(if it wasn't compatible with 1.5, we would have not upgraded from Seam 2 earlier this year).

Java EE 6-compliant application server (or a servlet container supported by the Weld servlet extension)
