I cannot reproduce the issue using Opera while I can using Firefox. The difference that probably causes the issue is a different date representation. While with Opera I get expected:

Tuesday January 01, 00:00:00 GMT+0100 1901

with Firefox I get

Tue 01 Jan 1901 12:00:00 AM CET

which Seam Remoting is not able to parse back.
