Well, of course we could fix the example, the point of this issue is that something that worked in Seam2.2 doesn't work any more in Seam2.3. If we consider that as a bug, the example should stay as it was, thus having a test case for this issue. The example should be updated only if it will be decided that this new behaviour is the desired behaviour and is documented as such in the Seam2.3 migration guide.
